Barnacre is a family run establishment located in the centre of picturesque Longhirst conservations village. Formely part of ‘Longhirst Farm’, Barnacre is an original 19th Century barn situated in one acre of grounds hence its name. Successfully converted in 1997, using all the original stone, bricks and beams, Barnacre is set around an enclosed courtyard which was built to contain cattle in the winter months. To the rear is Warren Cottage, which began life as the old granary building. A large lawned garden, which was previously the stack yard area used for storing hay and straw, is available for guests to use at their leisure. The Park contains delightful wooded valleys and some of the finest stretches of open moorland in the country.
